What are your delivery and pick up policies?
Deliveries are made between 8am and 2pm. We try to have our drivers out of the Waikiki area by 2pm due to traffic. We work closely with many of the resorts and concierge services on island so we often can either leave things at the bell desk or work with property managers to deliver prior to your arrival. If this is not possible we understand and will work with you but we do try to not have to make extra trips around the island!
All pick-ups should be ready by 10:00am on day of departure, unless previous arrangements have been made. If you decide to extend your rental, you must notify Paradise Baby Co. 24 hours prior to return date. All drop off and pick up times are subject to real estate offices check-in (out) policies, hotel policies and homeowners policies. Customers can request specific times for delivery and we will do our best to accommodate you. Please note, any deliveries or pickups required prior to 8am or after 2pm incur a $25 additional fee.
How do I calculate the number of days?
The easiest way to calculate the number of days is using the number of nights you need the items for- same as a hotel. Keep in mind we do our pickups around 10am in the morning so if you need your items later we will pick up the following day so please add an additional day (night).
Can you deliver to the airport?
YES, we provide airport delivery/pick up for a fee of $75. Only car seats, strollers, and small items can be delivered to the airport. Please note, any deliveries or pickups required prior to 7am or after 6pm incur a $25 additional fee.
How does airport delivery work?
We deliver car seats and small items to you curbside at the airport. All the car rental companies have moved to inside the airport and unfortunately they don’t let “outside vendors” up there. For delivery we meet you directly at the airport outside the baggage claim of the airline you are flying and hand you your car seats curbside. For pick up we arrange the day prior to departure to meet at your selected time curbside right outside the departure gate of the airline you are departing in. Please provide your flight info when you place your order.
Do you install car seats?
No. We are not authorized to install car seats. Please refer to the manufacturer recommended installation guides.
The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration has excellent resources for child safety in cars as well as state laws.
Is there a location I can pick up from?
We deliver and pick up island wide and currently don’t have a storefront where customers can pick up from.
Is there a minimum number of days required for rental?
We do have a 3 day minimum required and $50 order minimum for all orders. Delivery and pick-up is $50.
What if we are staying at two different places?
No problem. We can pick up at a different location for no extra charge. If you need to have your items transferred we can do that too. There will be a $35 transfer fee.
Where do you deliver?
We service the entire island of Oahu. Whether you are staying at a private residence, hotel, B&B or condo we are here to meet your needs.
What is your cancellation policy?
All cancellations made before 48 hours prior will be charged a one-time fee of $25 and the balance refunded. If cancellation is made 48 hours prior we can refund 50% of the total cost. Refunds for early termination of rentals during your stay will be prorated at 50% of the remaining unused rental term; actual term used will not be refunded.
Are your products safe and clean?
Safety is our number one concern at Paradise Baby Co. We register every product with the manufacturer and are kept notified of all equipment recalls. We sanitize our products after every use using a steamer that is heated to 200 degrees and use non-toxic cleaning products. Sheets and all cloth materials are laundered with fragrance free detergents. Baby and Toddler Equipment Rental Gear is replaced on a regular basis to bring you top of the line, latest gear in good condition.
What if I lose, damage or return my gear dirty?
Equipment must be returned in clean condition as it was received. Failure to do so will result in a $25.00 additional cleaning charge. Lost or damaged equipment will be charged the retail amount to your credit card. Exceptions include beach toys and bath toys.
Do you assemble cribs?
Yes. They are installed prior to your arrival, unless restrictions are in place at your rental location that will not permit us to do so.
How far in advance do I need to place my order?
To ensure availability, it is suggested you place your order as soon as your travel plans are confirmed. Of course we understand that sometimes plans cannot be made until the last minute so we do our best to accommodate your needs. Call us for last minute orders.
What if I am not satisfied with my order?
If you are not satisfied, we will be happy to replace the item as soon as possible so you can enjoy your trip to Oahu.
