Hiking with your Kids on Oahu
I was an avid hiker before I became pregnant with my first child and decided that my children would be as well! While pregnant I did most hikes even hiking up to Sunset pillboxes at 8 months! Once we had our first child we continued to hike and have recommended many hikes to families visiting Oahu. If they rent our hiking backpack most people can do most hikes except for the most difficult ones. If you have children that are hiking with you here are some recommendations:
Manoa Falls: This is a fun easy hike that leads to a waterfall. Family friendly and easy for even small hikers.
Makapu’u Lighthouse: This hike is paved so if you’ve rented a stroller (we recommend the BOB) you can bring your little one in the stroller. This hike offers great views!
Judd Trail: This is a short easy trail through the forest ending at a swimming hole where kids can jump in the water.
