FAQs About Our Car Seats
Do I Need to Install the Car Seat Myself, or Does Paradise Baby Co. Install It?
Paradise Baby Co. delivers the car seat and base, but renters are responsible for installing the seat in their rental car. Each car seat includes manufacturer instructions to guide proper setup. Our team cannot install it for you, but we are available by phone if you need support during installation.
Can I Switch to a Different Car Seat Mid-Trip If My Child’s Needs Change?
Yes. Contact Paradise Baby Co. if your child needs a different car seat during your Oahu trip. We can arrange an exchange subject to availability, helping you move to a seat that better matches your child’s current age, weight, height, and comfort needs.
Is a Car Seat Rental Required by Law When Driving with a Child in Oahu?
Hawaii law requires children to ride in an appropriate child safety seat or booster seat based on age, size, and fit. Rental cars do not always include car seats, so many visiting families rent them separately to meet safety requirements and travel comfortably around Oahu.
How Far Ahead Should I Book a Car Seat Rental for My Oahu Trip?
Book your Oahu car seat rental as soon as your travel dates are confirmed. Infant car seats and popular convertible car seats are often the first to book out during holidays, school breaks, and peak travel periods. Last-minute requests are welcome, but early reservations provide the best availability.
Why is Paradise Baby Co. the Best Choice for Car Seat Rentals?
Paradise Baby Co. rents a wide range of premium, sanitized car seats with island-wide delivery, flexible rental terms, and direct phone support for installation questions.
