Safety tips:

Always attach the leash to the child’s wrist to keep the board from floating away if they fall off.
Supervise children closely in the water, even in shallow surf; parental presence and active monitoring are essential.
Choose calm beach conditions and avoid strong waves or shore break. Keiki should only use the board in gentle, rolling whitewater.
Use rashguards or sun protection; children are especially vulnerable to sunburn while playing in reflective ocean water.
Remind kids to watch out for others in the water, teach them to give space to avoid collisions with swimmers or other boarders.
Check with a lifeguard before entering the water; some beaches on Oʻahu may have changing conditions, currents, or hazards not obvious from shore.

Cleaning:

After each rental, our team at Paradise Baby Co. thoroughly rinses the kid’s bodyboard with fresh water to remove all sand, salt, and debris. We ensure the board is fully dry before storage and perform a check of the leash and body to confirm it’s in excellent condition for the next keiki rider.
